Description
In 2010, the Durham Hosiery Mill converted to 75 affordable housing apartment units. The building had many historical challenges as layers and additions were added over time, making determination of the historic fabric difficult. Developers, architects and contractors worked with NC State Historic Preservation Office to create a plan for the building that preserved and restored its original character.
